ABOUT US

Who is Swan Earthmovers?
Swan Earthmovers Pty Ltd is a locally owned earthmoving and quarrying business based in Meningie, South Australia. We operate two Extractive Mineral Leases at Tailem Bend (Chapmans Pit) and Wellington. Our team delivers reliable services to local government and agribusiness clients across the region.
We’re a proud member of The Swan Group, a group of family owned businesses led by Craig and Kerry Swan. With over 30 years of experience each in various related fields, including diesel mechanics, agribusiness, project management, and business development, their leadership continues to guide our growth and direction.

Our Story
Swan Earthmovers was founded by Craig and Kerry Swan in 2020, after purchasing plant and equipment from a distressed sale. They quickly built a skilled team of operators with over 30 years of experience in heavy plant, earthmoving, and quarrying.
Since then, we have steadily grown by modernising our equipment, refining our business systems, and expanding our team to meet the evolving needs of our clients. We are proud to deliver quality, safe, and dependable services that support local government, agribusiness, and regional communities.
At our core, we operate with three key values:
Strong – Our people are selected for their strength of character, work ethic and the pride in their job. Our equipment is selected for it's ability to get the tough jobs done. Our systems are designed to deliver consistent results on every project.
Reliable – Our machines are well-maintained and ready to perform. Our team shows up prepared and follows through on every commitment, so our clients know they can count on us.
Safe – Safety is central to all we do. Our people go home safe, our equipment meets or exceeds all safety standards, and our worksites are managed with care and practical attention.
Our mission is simple: to strengthen the things that matter. Our vision is to build a lasting business that supports our community — now and into the future.
