Feed Pad at Sheoak Lodge
We recently finished preparing a feed pad at Swan Agri Business’s Sheoak Lodge, for their future confinement feeding area.
The pad, approximately 100m², is being constructed using oversized rubble crushed on site, ensuring a strong, durable base.
Special shoutout to Kelly and Cody for expertly laying the material, while Merv handled the on-site crushing, helping turn raw material into a ready-to-use product. This project is an exciting step in supporting Swan Agri’s long-term livestock operations.

Recycled Concrete Crushing
Working with the Coorong District Council, at the Tailem Bend Transfer Station, we recently crushed approximately 400 tonnes of recycled concrete, producing a 65 mm product.
This work not only helps manage waste effectively but also creates a reusable material that can be put back into local construction projects, supporting sustainable practices in the region.

Tobin Lodge Track
The Swan Earthmovers crew constructed farm tracks at Swan Agri Business’s Tobin Lodge, helping improve farm access.
They crushed material on-site using the Pegson jaw crusher. Once the product was ready, Justin, Graham, and Kelly moved on to laying around 1.5km of new track, creating a solid, long-lasting surface.
This work is making it easier to move equipment and livestock around the property, supporting ongoing farm operations.
It’s always rewarding to be involved in projects on one of our own farms and see the practical benefits of the work as it takes shape

Track work
The team worked with a local farmer to build tracks and a turnaround area. The crew delivered 40mm rubble to site, with Kelly operating the loader, grader, and vibrating roller, while Jack R managed the rubble deliveries.
The result is a smooth, durable track and turnaround space built to last. Across every project, the team has shown dedication, skill, and teamwork, delivering great results.

Crushing for Willoway Farming
The team completed a major project at Willoway Farming near Millicent.
Their task was to crush 30,000 tons of 40mm rubble, they began their work in October, initially using a Dozer to raise the material for the Impact Crusher.
By late November, they moved to the next phase, crushing the material into 40mm rubble.
This project marked the first collaboration between the Dozer and the Impact Crusher, showcasing skill and innovation.
Successfully crushing 30,000 tonnes is a significant achievement, which highlighted their dedication and expertise.

Heinrich Road Crushing
Working for the Coorong District Council at Henrich Road Pit, we crushed between 30,000 to 40,000 tonnes of 40mm rubble.
To get the job done right, we brought in some heavy duty machines – the CAT 336D Excavator, the I44R impact crusher, and the EZY Stack stacker.

Clay Spreading
Our team undertook the task of spreading 10,000 tonnes of clay on a farm in Malinong.
Our team performed some series digging to raise the clay, and then Aaron Richards from A H Clay Spreading spread the clay like a pro.

Clay spreading is crucial for improving soil quality, especially in sandy soils. By integrating clay, soil gains better water retention, weed control, and reduced erosion risk. Providing better yields and healthier crops for the following season.

Pit Transformation
Check out the incredible transformation of the old pit on Gordon Road done using the CAT D10 Dozer.

Ripping and Raising
Ripping and raising rubble for Wanderibby with the CAT D10 Dozer.

The ripping process involves using a specialised attachment, known as a ripper, to break up hard or compacted materials such as soil or rock.
As the dozer moves forward, the ripper is lowered into the ground, applying force to break and loosen the material. Using this method, the dozer can easily access the materials underneath the surface.

Ripping helps the dozer to move large amounts of product and create piles of material which are convenient for later crushing.

Using the dozer, we were also able to clean up the area, making it look better and safer for everyone.

Track Repair & Shed Pad
The team embarked on a monumental project at Mill Park Stud, showcasing their expertise and commitment to excellence.

Their task involved creating a large, shed pad and repairing 2.6 kilometers of road.

To source the necessary material for this project, the team utilised our mobile crushing service and located the best material on the property and created a temporary quarry.

They then used this material for the shed pad and track and once the job was completed they filled in the temporary quarry and rehabilitated the land. You wouldn’t have even known we were there.
